§ 01 HOW IT WORKS
1 click = 3 steps to the answer
Press a button or hotkey: ChiMate captures a screenshot, extracts task text with OCR, recognises related images and prepares an answer. Response time depends on the selected model.
Step 01
Screenshot capture
Take a screenshot of any window using a hotkey or by pressing the button on the special translucent control panel (the "Overlay"). No context switching and no loss of focus.
Step 02
Text and image recognition
ChiMate extracts the text of the task with OCR, preserving its structure. It also recognises related images, including drawings, diagrams and graphs, for further analysis.
Step 03
AI analysis
The model takes the task's text and images into account to produce a structured answer: an explanation, translation or solution.
§ 02 INTERFACE
One assistant. Four ways to work

Polynomial inequality
Solve the inequality:
(x − 3)²(x + 4) ≤ 0
Use the ∪ symbol to indicate a union of intervals.
( )[ ]√xⁿπ∞<>≤≥∈∪
Answer ✓

Solving the inequality
(−∞; −4] ∪ [3; 3]
The squared factor is non-negative. The sign of the product is determined by x + 4, and the product is zero at x = 3.

Invalid number will be printed

Handling ValueError
Invalid number will be printed
Converting the string to an integer raises ValueError, which is caught by the exception handler.
● ● ● Coding
Code analysis: profile import
A school laboratory developed a service for storing user profiles. A profile can be exported as a string and then imported again. The developers chose Python’s built-in pickle module because it can serialize Python objects.

Reading: visiting someone's home
If you are invited to someone’s house for dinner or for a visit, you should remember to take a gift with you. This can be a cake, a box of chocolates or sweets, a bunch of flowers or a bottle of wine. If there is a small child in the family, you should also buy him or her a small gift. If you decide to take flowers, give an odd number.
You should dress casually for dinner in someone’s home. When you arrive at the house, you will be asked to remove your shoes and put on a pair of house slippers. Whenever you go to someone’s house, it’s polite to compliment the host. In Russia, though, try not to compliment anything specific, because the host may want to give it to you! Also, make sure that you don’t cross your legs so that the sole of your foot is showing, or put your feet on the furniture. This is very bad manners and will offend people.
When it comes to food and drink, you should never refuse anything that is offered. This is also very bad manners. Finally, don’t forget to thank your host.
Choose the correct statements.
More than one answer is correct.
If you are invited to someone’s house for dinner, you shouldn’t take a gift with you.
Whenever you go to someone’s house, it’s polite to compliment the host.
If you are invited to someone’s house for dinner, you should remember to take a gift with you.
Whenever you go to someone’s house, it’s impolite to compliment the host.

Ozonolysis of organic compounds
Select all compounds that, when ozonolyzed followed by reductive treatment (Zn, H₂O), yield a single organic product.
A temperature sensor and an electric heater are immersed in water. The cup is suspended from a vertical spring, the elongation of which is measured by a sensor. Before the start of the experiment, the mechanical sensor was zeroed with an empty cup with a heater and temperature sensor installed in it, so its readings are determined only by the mass of the remaining water.
At point A, a fan is turned on, creating a constant flow of dried air. The water begins to evaporate and cool. At point C, without changing the fan mode, connect a constant power heater. The experiment ends at point E, when the water has completely evaporated.
Assume that the water has a uniform temperature. Air temperature, humidity and speed remain constant during the experiment. Heat flows from the air to the water according to P_air = β(T_air − T), where β is constant. Evaporation is the only cause of water loss. The water does not boil. Ignore splashing, leaks, the heat capacity of the cup and equipment, and any other heat transfer.
The graph is an idealized model of the measurement results. Assume that the rate of evaporation is constant from A to C and takes on a different constant value from C to E. Neglect the effect of water temperature on the rate of evaporation within each of these sections.
A two-channel recorder recorded the water temperature and the additional extension of the spring relative to the position of the empty cup. The channel labels were lost, so only the designations “curve I” and “curve II” remained on the graph. The conventional indication of channel u is plotted vertically, and the number of divisions n is plotted horizontally. The time from the beginning of the experiment is determined by the formula t = qn. Consider all points marked with letters to be located exactly at the nodes of the coordinate grid.
The following quantities are known:
Air temperature: T_air = 30 °C.
Time scale: q = 0.8 min/div.
Temperature (in °C) as a function of the reading: T = 15.6 + 2.4u.
Spring extension (in cm) as a function of the reading: x = u · sₓ; sₓ = 0.08 cm/unit.
Spring stiffness: k = 30 N/m.
Specific heat capacity of water: c = 4200 J/(kg · °C).
Specific latent heat of vaporization: L = 2.26 MJ/kg.
Gravitational acceleration: g = 10 m/s².
Questions for the assignment
How many minutes after switching on the fan was the first steady state reached? Round your answer to one decimal place.
Determine the initial mass of water. Express your answer in grams, round to whole numbers.
Determine the rate of water evaporation before turning on the heater. Express your answer in g/min, round to the nearest hundredth.
Determine the heat transfer coefficient β. Express your answer in W/°C, round to the nearest tenth.
Determine the heater power. Express your answer in watts, round to the nearest tenth.
Answer
ChiMate.ai
First steady state
8 min
t = q · n = 0.8 min/div · 10 div = 8 min.
Initial mass of water
17 g
m = k · u₀ · sₓ / g = 30 · 7 · 0.0008 / 10 = 0.0168 kg = 16.8 g ≈ 17 g.
Indirect taxes account for 10% of GDP. Over the year, their absolute value increased by 10%, and the remaining components of GDP did not change. The relative change in GDP amounted to ...%.
Answer:
ChiMate.ai
Change in GDP
1%
The increase in taxes is equal to 10% of 10% of GDP, that is, 1% of the original GDP; other components are unchanged.

§ 06 FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions. Can't find yours — drop us a line.
What are credits?
Credits are spent on each analysis request. The cost depends on the chosen model tier: Simple — 1 credit, Advanced — 2, Top — 3. Your plan determines how many credits you receive each period.
Which model tiers are available?
Three tiers are available — Simple, Advanced and Top. Higher tiers use more capable models and deliver up to 95% accuracy on complex tasks.
Will other apps or websites notice the overlay and screenshots?
The Windows app can exclude its overlay from compatible screen captures when capture protection is enabled. The browser assistant does not guarantee this: its window may appear when sharing an entire screen.
Which operating systems are supported?
The desktop app supports Windows 10/11 (x64). The browser assistant works in supported desktop browsers, including current Chrome and Edge. Screen capture and floating-window support depend on the browser.
What languages do OCR and analysis support?
OCR recognises virtually any language supported by the selected model. Analysis answers automatically adapt to the interface language or the source task language.
Does ChiMate recognise images in a task?
Yes. ChiMate extracts task text with OCR and recognises related drawings, diagrams and graphs. The model takes both text and images into account when preparing an answer. Capture the entire task and its related images.
How long does it take to get an answer?
It depends on the selected model tier, the complexity of the task and the number of questions in it. Approximate response times: Simple — 2–20 seconds, Advanced — 5–40 seconds, Top — up to 60 seconds.
What if the task is too long to fit on the screen?
For these cases, CDP mode can capture the entire page, including content beyond the visible area.
Can I get a refund if the app does not suit me?
You can request a refund if you have used no more than 30 credits. Requests are reviewed within 3 business days.
